One
to one Counselling
Mankind UK is a UK charity that provides advice and help for victims of
male sexual violence and sex attacks. As such it provides opportunities
to talk to someone who understands and will help you to sort out your
problems at your own pace. All counsellors are trained to deal with issues
of sexual abuse and male sexual violence. You have a choice to work with
a male or female counsellor. Counselling will normally involve an hourly
session once a week and will involve a fee based on a sliding scale.
Group
Support
A place to receive support from others and realise that you are not alone.
Group facilitators help to create a safe environment where feelings can
be explored. This will be arranged on request provided there is sufficient
interest.
Support
for Partners & Families
Mankind UK recognise that partners and families of survivors of a sex
attack often need support and help sorting out their own feelings. We
therefore offer support, where appropriate, which may include one to one
counselling and/or facilitated groups.
Mankind
UK operates a child protection policy.
